8 Decorative Ways Every Teenage Girl Can Make Her Room Look Aesthetically Pleasing
Whether you have your own room or share your bedroom with siblings, I have gathered some great ways you can truly transform your room into a safe haven and an addictive space for you to be productive or simply get away from everyone else. So, Let’s dive in :)
#1.
Figure Out Your Colours
If you have the option of repainting your room, then make sure that you have a range of colours in mind.
I personally suggest that you pick two or three colours that are complementary to each other such as (light pink and white) or (light pink, grey and white) . It’s really up to you.
However,
It may be easier to just paint your room to a shade of white, where it will complement and work well with all the other colourful objects and furniture in your room.

#2.
Colour Coordinate Your Wardrobe
If this seems like it takes a lot of energy and time, that’s because it does. Especially if you have a mountain of clothes and you don’t have a big enough wardrobe.
However, the end result is always something to look forward to as you’ll find it so much more easier to get what it is that you need from your closet faster.
#3
LED Lights
I’m sure you saw this one coming.
Is it even possible to make your room aesthetic without having these somewhere in your room?
Adding these to your room is a great way to spice up the look and create this very cosy and chill ambience and atmosphere.
The most popular designs of LED lights are the ones that seem to go along the ceiling, bed and mirror.
But you can also have the portable and small like figures in shapes, animals and letters.
#4.
Pillows
Lots of them.
Typically, the pillows would be the same colours that you originally painted your room just so that your style is truly being emphasised.
Also, adding more pillows to your room gives the impression of your room being warmer, cosier, and just overall homely.
#5.
Create A Picture Wall / Collage Wall
This is something that I haven’t done yet but have seen so many people incorporate into their own bedrooms.
I’ll probably do it when I learn to be more photogenic and not awkward in front of a camera but for now, my school timetable and science formulas will be the only images on my wall (sigh).
#6.
Fluffy Bean Bag Chair
These are honestly so comfortable.
It’s perfect to just play around with and sit down whenever there’s bad weather or you can sit down and read a book, watch a YouTube video or doze off.
I really recommend getting one.
#7.
A Shelf
Being aesthetic also means being tidy and organised and a great way to do that is to get a shelf or any other sort of organisation material.
You can place your books , stationary or even your best shoes up on display.
#8.
Adding Plants
Adding plants to your room, whether real or fake, is simple and precise but a very detailed touch to your bedroom.
Don’t over do it though. You wouldn’t want to die due to a overdose on carbon dioxide 😬😁.
