9 Feminine Ways You Can Wake Up Feeling Pretty Every Single Day
Unless you’re some sort of magical fairy, I’m guessing that you probably don’t wake up with your hair perfectly framing your face or with your skin radiating that perfect sun-kissed glow.
If you do, I would definitely love to know what on earth you’re doing that most of us girlies aren’t.
But Until Then...
In this blog post, I’ve decided to gather a list of 9 spectacular things that can help us feel a bit more prettier and daintier every morning when we stumble out of bed.
LeT’s DiVe In :)
#1 Make Sure To Do Your Skin Care And Body Care Routine The Night Before
This is so important if you want to wake up feeling refreshed and looking somewhat alive in the mornings.
Take the time the night before to cleanse and unblock those clogged up pores to prevent the horrible surprise of waking up to an uninvited pimple in the morning.
Make sure to exfoliate in order to get rid of all those dry and dead skin that like to layer on the surface.
This will result in your skin being quite smooth and extremely supple and soft which will then leave you feeling so beautiful.
#2 Get Yourself A Pretty PJ Set
I love searching sites like Shein and RiverIsland just to look at the many options of pretty underwear and PJ sets that they have in stock.
Investing in a stylish nightgown that is affordable and comfortable can really make you feel expensive and high fashioned.
This is honestly such a great way to exude feminine energy and feel priceless even at night where the only place you’re going is to your bed.
#3 Spray Yourself With Your Favourite Scented Body Mists
I just absolutely adore body mists. The vanilla and lavender fragrances especially.
But Anyhoo…
Applying these sweet smelling fragrances just before you go to bed, have the effect of making you feel quite luxurious and also very delicate when you finally wake up in the morning.
Doing this is such a subconscious way of enhancing your natural beauty and giving you that essence of femininity.
However,
I wouldn’t recommend that you utilise the same strong scents that you would typically use in the day time, at night.
Look for body mists with natural scents that aren’t so overpowering such as mint or even cocoa butter as these are all scents that the nose loves.
#4 Be Sure To Lotion And Moisturise Your Skin Before Going To Bed
Hydrating your skin is super important especially if you’re trying to appear attractive with minimum effort as soon as you get out of bed.
If you don’t want your skin to be dry and wrinkled first thing in the morning or at all, moisture is key.
You can buy a lotion or even essential oils that will do the same job of making your skin soft, glowy and radiant.
#5 Wear Your Hair In A Pretty Bun Or A Head Wrap
Hair is extremely important when it comes to how attractive we and others perceive ourselves so it makes sense to want to protect it from shedding and breakage at night.
However,
Waking up with a bonnet on your hair is not the most prettiest thing so instead, try changing out all your pillow cases to satin or silk. This will prevent your ends from breaking or your hairstyle from deteriorating.
By using silk pillowcases, you can then fix your hair in a neat bun so that when you wake up, you look pleasantly gorgeous.
You could also wrap your hair neatly with a silk scarf which also gives you the same results as above:)
#6 Drink Water...And More Water
In fact, leave a bottle of water with a straw right beside your bed so that you can sip on during the night or drink enthusiastically before going to bed.
#7 Tidy Up Your Bed...Actually, Tidy Up Your Whole, Entire Room
If your environment is clean and looking amazing then when you wake up, you are bound to feel and look amazing too. It’s a done deal.
So…
Switch out those bed sheets, organise your wardrobe, take your clothes off the floor and do whatever else it is that you need to get your room looking flawless and tidy.
#8 Apply A Waterproof, Moisturising Lip Protecting Chapstick
If you don’t want to go to bed or wake up with dry, peeling lips then this is essential for you to do just before you go to bed.
It can be a great tool to keep under your pillow alongside some minty bubblegum for instances in which you can't stand the taste of your own breath anymore :)
#9 Go To Bed At A Reasonable Time
Whatever that time is, make sure it’s enough to make you feel optimised and energised for the day ahead, making sure that your eyes aren't puffy or bloodshot when you finally get up in the morning.
Well, That’s It Folks
