5 Stupid Things You've Probably Heard Your Teacher Say
Mood: Annoyed😑😒
If you ever went to secondary school in the UK, then some of these phrases are sure to take you on a little tour back to memory lane. A time where you were always wrong and had absolutely no say in your own life. Hold tight!
"So if your mate told you to jump off a cliff, you would do it?"
Seriously, how more stupid could this phrase get?
How can you even compare a silly thing as Tina telling me to throw a pen at John and me complying with the stupid action, to me jumping off a cliff and potentially committing suicide. How dumb does that sound?
Just because I decided to be a follower and do something stupid for one second, doesn't mean I'm going to go along with a life threatening situation that will affect me Forever. (Smh)
Besides…Why on earth would my friend tell me to jump off a cliff? I don't know what kind of friends you have but if your friends ever tell you to jump off a cliff then I' ll advice that you run and call the police ASAP. 😶
"Would you like to share that with the class? "
No, I would most definitely not like to share that with the class thus why I was whispering in the first place. Thankyouverymuch🙄
"I've been teaching for 20 years now, and I've never seen any class act like this"
Well… Surprise. There's always a first time for everything. Wouldn't you agree? 😏😁
"Your friends won't be there, taking the exams for you"
Yes, I am fully aware of that.
Just because I asked Nick to help me solve question 2 in the workbook, doesn't mean I am now co-dependent, Immobile and incapable of doing things alone. The exams are a month away, so while I still have time, I'm going to ask for help.
Asking a classmate to help me with the equation hasn't affected my independence skills. I promise you that I'm still able to feed myself, dress myself, bathe myself and wipe myself after using the loo. I'll be fine😉
"I have a daughter/son at home and she/he would never act like this"
And my mother/father would never act like you. (just kidding. Please don't say this)
But Isn't this a nice way for teachers to boost and flex your own parenting skills whilst insulting other parents and their own parenting skills? Most of the time, the teachers that say this are just blatantly exaggerating the situation or they're just truly fed up with everything at this point so be nice🙂
Closing Remarks…
Just endure the blatant stupidity until you finally graduate and regain your liberty. Soon it'll be all over. I promise.
or not.
Well, That’s It Folks.
