How To Make Your Outfit 10 Times Prettier
Since starting back school this September, my closet has been an absolute mess and I’ve practically worn out all my best outfits.
This might be quite shocking for me to say but…
I think there’s a piece of me that actually miss wearing uniforms.
The truth is,
I’m so drained out and have no motivation whatsoever to try and come up with amazing outfits to wear everyday.
This has gotten to the point where I’ve just been rocking the plain, bland shirt and blue jeans look.
But now, I feel a bit inspired and feel the need to spice it up a bit which is why in this blog post, I’ve decided to gather a list of 8 great ways you can make your outfit look less boring and ten times prettier.

#1 Wear Aesthetic And Complementary Colours
This alone can be exactly what you need to do, in order to transform your outfit from bland to glam instantly!
Simply choose a different range of colours that go well together such as dusty pink, denim blue and black, and then create an outfit that incorporates all three of these colours to get that stylish and put-together look.
If you find it hard to put together an outfit with various complementary colours, you could put together a monochromatic outfit using just one colour such as pink.
Try using different shades, different textures and different fabrics to make your outfit look more fitting and visibly pleasing.
You could also accessorise the outfit with another colour to make it all come together and blend gorgeously.
#2 Glam Up Your Hair
If you’re planning on wearing a plain white shirt with black trousers or jeans, then a colour change in your hair can really enhance the overall look.
No, you don’t need to dye your hair and constantly switch between colours.
You can simply try styling different coloured wigs or try using a temporary hair colour wax.
However,
Changing up the colour of your hair might not be as practical especially if you’re not the wearing wigs type.
This is fine because there are other ways to glam up your hair such as adding hair jewellery and pretty hair pieces.
Make sure to switch up your hairstyles to suit particular looks or find that one amazing hairstyle that fits all.
#3 Add A Really Cute Belt
So you’ve just looked in your wardrobe and all you’ve found was a plain, boring ole white blouse and jeans?
What you need to do now is to add a pretty, stylish belt for some personality to your outfit. And that’s it!

#4 Add A Scarf And A Watch
I’ve started to notice that scarves are being more utilised as fashion than it is a “neck warmer”. I hardly see people wrapping their necks completely with their scarves anymore even if it is extremely cold outside.
But Anyhoo...
Scarves are actually a really good way to spice up an everyday simple, average-looking outfit and this is also true when it comes to watches as well.
Watches are such simple accessories but have the power to really step up your outfit to an entirely new level so you might wanna get on board and try it :)
#5 Choose A Handbag That Screams “Fashion!”
Believe when I say that a really cute and pretty handbag can change up your look immensely.
It’s a great way to stay fashionable even if you’re planning on wearing sweats and a hoodie.
It has a way of making sure you maintain class, sophistication and elegance which are all the things we're striving to gain in life.
#6 Sunglasses
Sunglasses are the perfect accessory you need to add to a really casual outfit for that casual, chic look.
Wear them in the summertime, the springtime, fall and winter. You can wear them all year round because these accessories are one of those that can never be deemed as unfashionable...ever.
#7 Match Your Shoes With Your Top
As simple as a red top and a denim skirt may be, by adding a red footwear whilst adding red and white clips to your hair can really spice up and transform your whole, entire outfit drastically.
Using the same colour, start matching your tops to your shoes. It will add a great touch and make you seem much more coordinated and stylish.
#8 Do Your Makeup To Complement Your Entire look
You don’t even need to do a full face of makeup to add a bit of style and sass to your outfits.
Focus on your eyes and your lips.
For your eyes, you might want to do a wing eyeliner and add some colour to your lids.
As for your lips, a neutral or mildly bright shade of lipstick or even gloss might do the trick.
