6 Easy Ways To Create A Relaxing Spa Day At Home

In most cases, I can truly say that I enjoy my own company and that’s honestly because I really like to treat and reward myself from time to time . 

This can be as small as eating a pack of Haribos or something bigger such as going to the movies with my friends. 

Whether big or small, it’s so important that you remember to celebrate all of your accomplishments in life. Not only the big things that you deem as more important, but also the simple things too. 

So with that being said, In this blog post, I’ll be sharing with you some really awesome ways that you can treat yourself without spending so much. 

Here are 6 incredible ways to pamper yourself by creating a spa day at home.

So, Here Are The Main Things That Will Be Addressed In This Blog Post:

#1 Treat Your Feet

Compared to how much we look after our faces, we really tend to neglect our feet.

Yes, the face is what is displayed more often but according to psychologists, the first thing we physically notice on a person is their feet. 

Sadly, this is something that I cannot confirm or deny solely because it is a subconscious act.

But whether or not this is true, we still need to invest quality time to care for and treat our feet.

Here are three ways you can give your feet some love:

 Foot masks: I honestly didn’t even know that this was a thing until it was given to me by someone.  

It is said to ‘penetrate deep into the skin to reduce callus build-up and help repair and soften cracked, split heels’.

This is something that I would recommend as the process leaves you feeling great and your feet feeling smooth and soft. 

Create a foot spa: No need to buy a foot spa machine when I’m sure you have some sort of  bucket and water at home. 

All you need to do now is to add in all your essential oils, warm the water, soak your feet in and you’re ready to go. 

Foot scrubs: This to me, is definitely a product you should get as it will helps your feet in being moisturised and cleanse from dirt. 

 

#2 Get Your Body A Massage

If you’re comfortable with letting someone massage you then go ahead and do it.  

But personally for me, I’d rather buy an organic massaging oil and a small massager and it will still get the job done. Easy-Peasy :)


#3 Soak Yourself In A Relaxing Bath

This is honestly such a great way to truly relax your body and destress for the evening. 

Why not take the time to spice up the way you take your showers and bath to have a more relaxing evening

#4 Facial Care

The face is extremely important and I would say that it's the most prominent feature in regards to physical appearance. 

This is why many people like to put in an immense amount of care when it comes to making sure that their face is appealing to others. 

Although we like to say that it's the personality that matters most, the way you look also plays a significant part of who a person is so with that being said, 

Here are 6 skincare products that you can use to enhance the appearance of your face:

The hair on our heads is so important since it has the power to either enhance and emphasise the beauty of our face or it can diminish and degrade our appearance completely. 

Taking care of your hair is something that you should be doing regularly.

You can do research to see which particular hairstyles suit your face shape the most or you could just simply come up with your own styles that you personally find favour in.

Other things you could do to make you feel good about your hair is to:

  • Use hair spray for a more shiny and  voluminous look.

  • Use Hair Perfume mist to give your hair a light rich scent.

  • Add hair accessories and pieces to your hair.

#6 Sleep 

Something that I’m extremely guilty of is not sleeping during the day because I don’t want to feel as if I’m wasting time. 

Sleep is so valuable and it is something that you should really cherish as it could be the only time there is silence and peace in your life. 

It is so important to rest your body as well as your mind. This is your time to stop thinking for a while and relax. 

Truth be told, this is probably the best thing you can do at a home spa day so don’t overlook it. 

Other Things You Can Do Are:

  • Journal

  • Do something you love. Perhaps painting.

  • Cook or bake

  • Beautify your nails

  • Binge watch your favourite TV series

  • Take a walk in nature

  • Jam to some old tunes
